For an American manufacturer of excavators and wheel loaders, a counter weight of 10 tons needs to be assembled to the back of the machine. Four or more M36 bolts (depending on the excavator model) are precisely tightened vertically from the underside at 1800 Nm or 2800 Nm each. As a result, the counter weight bolts withstand the high vibrations encountered during use. We developed mobile tightening solutions with an integrated industrial computer for traceability, using a WiFi connection to the plants network database as well as fixed installed solutions.
